The S3 medical plans offer preventive care services covered at 100%; prescription drug benefits; mental health; and substance abuse coverage; and a large network of doctors and hospitals to help you and your family improve or maintain your health.
To protect employees and their families in the event of death or serious injury, S3 automatically provides basic term life, basic accident, and business-travel accident insurance. The cost for these benefits is entirely paid by the company. Benefits-eligible employees also have the option to purchase additional life insurance and/or accident insurance if it meets their needs.
S3 automatically enrolls benefits-eligible employees in both the short-term and long-term disability insurance plans after a short waiting period. The cost for this benefit is entirely paid by the company.
The flexibility of paid annual leave lets you set your own priorities. Use paid annual leave for vacation, a parent-teacher conference, a doctor’s appointment, or any number of events in your life.
S3 helps benefits-eligible employees plan for their future by offering a generous retirement benefit program to supplement Social Security benefits and personal savings. The 401(k) Plan offers a variety of investment funds that participating employees can use to diversify their account, as well as lifecycle funds targeted to
specific retirement dates. Risk levels range from conservative to aggressive.
S3 retirement benefits vary based on hire date, employment classification, and subsidiary. Currently, S3 matches employee contributions – dollar for dollar – up to 7% of eligible pay on an annual basis, provided he or she is actively employed on December 31st and completed 501 hours of service as an eligible employee. Additionally, S3 may make a discretionary profit sharing contribution to employee 401(k) Plan accounts based on company performance, provided he or she is actively employed on December 31st and completed 501 hours of services as an eligible employee.
Professional development is encouraged and supported, which is why S3 will reimburse qualified tuition expenses for eligible employees. Up to $4,100 (undergraduate), and $6,200 (graduate) annually.
