Aircraft: MD-500/530 Series (Includes MD-500D/E/MD-530F, per customer requirements)
Prerequisite: Student must be a FAA Certificated Rotorcraft/Helicopter Pilot or Military Equivalent
The MD-500 Series Pilot Initial Qualification course consists of 22 hours academic Instruction and 15 hours qualification flight training in an FAA-certified MD-500D/E or MD-530F aircraft. For DOD customers, this course includes a one (1) hour flight evaluation and official documentation in USA IATF or USAF Form 8. Note: We do not schedule flight training in this course on Saturdays or Sundays unless needed to make up for training lost due to maintenance or inclement weather.
