• Primary authorship of the Army Capstone Concept, The Army in Joint Operations, and three other foundational concepts within the Army Concepts Strategy
• Review and comment for the Army on many joint concepts within the large collection of joint operating and integrating concepts
• Senior concept expert support to Army, Service, and joint/OSD wargames
• Policy and planning support to TRADOC in the area of defense planning scenarios and the development of Army scenarios consistent with them, a task which involves direct collaboration with ARSTAF and OSD

• Strategic planning, policy development, tech analysis, and requirements determination to support the Army goal of developing a joint-interoperable, single Army battle command system and its enablers
• LandWarNet development (the future Army network)
• Input to the Army Campaign Plan and Army Transformation Roadmap
• Development of C4ISR input into the annual Army Capabilities Needs Analysis (CNA) strategic plan
• Review and analysis of C4ISR-related requirements documents
• Representation to DA and joint boards, including flag officer level oversight committees

• Leading role in the development, planning, and execution of the strategic engagement plan for senior TRADOC leaders within the ARCIC with the joint, defense, and academic communities
• Leading role in the identification, refinement, and GO-level advocacy of joint interdependence initiatives critical to Army development of its Future Force
• Development of TRADOC’s Global Trends, 2020 and Beyond strategic implications paper

• Development of the Amy Concept and Capabilities Development Plan that governs and schedules Army experimentation activities in current and out-years
• Development and coordination of Joint, Allied, and Multinational (MN) experiment objectives and requirements
• Development and coordination of Army concept-based experiment objectives and support requirements
• Development of prototype experiment plans, including documentation for exercise and experiment directives

• On-site liaison for TRADOC ARCIC and DCSINT to JFCOM J2, J7, J8, and J9 staffs for integration of a comprehensive set of matters of mutual interest
• Preparation of the TRADOC commanding general, deputy commanding generals, and principal general officer staff officers for participation in JFCOM coordination venues
• Analysis of JFCOM initiatives and their potential relevance and impact on Army organizations

• Strategic planning, event planning and execution, and analysis in support of Army C2 developments under the purview of the BCBL
• Leading role in the planning and execution of the OMNI FUSION two-year experimentation program intended to develop Army C2 organizations and capabilities from Brigade to Corps for the Army Modular Force
• Leading role in planning and organizing Army participation in JFCOM’s URBAN RESOLVE capstone experiment for 2006-07
• Liaison to JFCOM for the BCBL and TRADOC Program Integration Office-Battle Command (TPIO-BC)
• Network administration and IT support for the BCBL Futures Lab

• Planning, administrative, and execution support to the UFMCS campaign plan and the development of Red Team capability within the Modular Army
• Coordination of instruction, student attendance, and conference activities

• SME support to the evolution and application of Opposing Force (OPFOR) capabilities in the joint and Army training systems, with emphasis on preparation for the current operating environment
• Expert analytical research for the development of OPFOR doctrine for Joint, Interagency, Intergovernmental and Multinational (JIIM) application
• Coordination of OPFOR initiatives and accreditation requirements for the Joint National Training Center (JNTC) and monitoring Army JNTC OPFOR program initiatives and issues

• Facilitation and management of the integration of Army and USMC programs of record and special projects with joint/coalition collaboration in the area of CIE
• CIEMO representative to planning and execution bodies connected with the series of multinational experiments under JFCOM purview intended to improve C3 integration of allied and coalition forces
• Lead CIEMO agent for coordination, compilation, and editing of the Warfighting Collaboration Required Capabilities – Synchronous (WCRC – S) document
• Liaison with: Joint Staff J6, J8; DISA’s Net Centric Enterprise Services (NCES) Program Management Office; and US Marine Corps Centers of Excellence - to advocate for joint warfighters on web-based warfighter collaboration requirements
• Direct CIE training support to force headquarters identified for deployment

• Direct support to J88 implementation of Net-Enabled Command and Control and Joint C2 Portfolio Management

• Chief liaison officer for OSD-NII to the JFCOM staff
• Coordination of activities for the integration of information systems, services, and data strategy into the enterprise-wide GIG efforts within USJFCOM.
• Support to the implementation of GIG-compliant and interoperable C4I solutions for legacy and new /emerging programs, capabilities and /or processes
