Army’s acquisition community and requirements
community considering Congressional interests in
all aspects of Army Aviation Survivability
Equipent. Develop and maintain a synchronized
programmatic approach providing Aircraft
Survivability Equipment (ASE) and Countermeasures
to the entire fleet of Army aircraft. Follow-up
actions are geared to providing the best product
improvements at an optimal production rate in the
fastest time possible to benefit the warfighter.
Coordinate daily with HQDA G-3/5/7, HQDA G-4, PEO
Aviaion, PEO IEWS, HQDA G-8, Congressional and
Coprporate interests.
Necessary Skills / Qualifications

Description
- Business Development
Manager has responsibility
for developing relationships with target
customers in the DC area to penetrate
organizations and open doors to new business
opportunities in technical support and training
services. The preferred opportunities are to be
developed as prime roles for the company in
either full and open competitions, small business
set asides with NAICS codes within 1000-1500
employee count, and or task orders through
existing IDIQ contract vehicles. The candidate
must have detailed understanding of the
procurement process of DoD and other government
agencies. Will be responsible for applying
demonstrated experience in the planning,
management and conduct of all capture
opportunities and providing the leadership
necessary to mount an effective pursuit campaign
aimed at capturing specific business
opportunities with emphasis on new customers or
new program captures.
Necessary Skills / Qualifications
-
BABS required with at least 20 years of
experience. Minimum of 10 years experience in the
aerospace/defense industry as a successful
business developer, and five years experience as
a program manager. Ability to travel 25-50% of
the time with a passport is required for some
international travel. Knowledge of DoD markets
with direct US Army business development
experience. Must be a US citizen, with or capable
of obtaining a TOP SECRET clearance, meet
eligibility requirements for access to classified
information; and be subject to government
security investigation.
